Working Parent Entitlement 

Working Parent Entitlement Funding is supported by Broughton Cottage Day Nursery for under 2 year old children, commencing at the start of term following following a child’s 9 month anniversary and 2 year old funding commencing at the start of term following a child’s 2nd birthday, with the two year old running concurrently.  This funding entitlement is subject to an eligibility criteria, further information can be obtained at https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare, but essentially both parents in a couple must meet the work conditions, or one parent in a single parent household of:

• Earning the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the minimum wage – £195.00 per week.
• Neither parent earning more than £100,000 net adjusted income per year.

Eligibility needs to be confirmed by the receipt of an 11 digit code, before the last day of term in order for children to be eligible for the following term.  If this is confirmed children will receive 1140 free hours per annum or 95 hours per calendar month equalised over the year, as Broughton Cottage is open 50 weeks a year.

Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE)

FEEE is supported by Broughton Cottage, commencing at the start of term following a child’s 3rd birthday.

Unlike the Working Parent Entitlement, all 3 year old children receive funding.  If parents meet the eligibility criteria as described above for under 3 year old funding and are in receipt of an 11 digit eligibility code, they will continue to benefit from 1140 free hours per annum or 95 hours per month on an equalised basis, as Broughton Cottage is open 50 weeks a year. If the parents are not eligible under the previously referred to criteria, they will benefit from 570 free hours per annum or 47.5 hours per calendar month.

All children receive a monthly invoice detailing free hours, chargeable hours and the cost of voluntary consumables.
